Project description

Catalysis is significantly important in today’s society: without catalytic processes the world would be completely different, as gasoline, almost all drugs, plastics, fertilizers, all made by catalysis. Often these catalysts are soluble in the products, resulting in difficult purification steps to remove the often toxic and expensive catalysts. Therefore, we want to put these catalysts onto a support material, allowing a simple recovery by filtration.
