Tidal marshes are prominent landforms occurring in the buffer zone between land and sea of estuaries and lagoons. These coastal features result from the interplay between vegetation, sediment transport and the flow field. The proposed research aims to develop a model which will allow us to evaluate the key elements that control the long-term evolution of tidal marshes.
