Keywords
Gastric acid secretion helicobacter suis

Project description

The first aim of this project is to study how Helicobacter suis affects gastric acid secretion. A direct interaction between H. suis and acid-secreting cells will be investigated, as well as indirect effects related to infection-induced inflammation. In addition, a correlation between H. suis infection, gastric acid secretion and the composition of the gastric microbiota will be determined.
