Project description

The main objective of the project is a reliable and validated to develop clinical research platform that allows healthcare leg and foot dynamics in patients with Diabetes Mellitus and objectively quantify this by integrating existing evaluation methods in a comprehensive and integrated system. The second goal is to create a useful clinical trial protocol for the diabetic foot which can contribute to optimizing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. The project will first focus on the integration of technology and data management / interpretation. The biomechanical models of the foot and lower leg, 3-D multsegment (3-DFM), and foot pressure measurements will, together with EMG, to be integrated.
