Project description

AI can help transform radiology from an 'art' to a more objective and precise way of analyzing medical images to improve patient care. AI allows to detect lesions and discover new imaging biomarkers for early diagnosis and prevention of diseases. Moreover, it enables more precise disease monitoring and follow-up, thus providing an extra layer of image interpretation that contains a great amount of useful information.

In this project, we intend to collect data (CT of the abdomen, CT of the hand and wrist, CT of the feet). We will segment these data, annotate the presence of lesions (erosions, ankylosis, osteopenia) and train an AI model and build a model that allows for early detection of these lesions in patients with reumatic and metabolic diseases.
