Project description

The researcher will develop coupling algorithms for the partitioned simulation of fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems with nonlinear behaviour, for example with contact between the different parts of the structure. The second goal is to reduce the duration of FSI simulations. Finally, the influence of a difference in time discretization between the flow solver and the structural solver will be analyzed.
