This project evaluates tectonic events at the Andaman margin of the Indian plate by using several radiometric dating methods in a multi-method strategy, yielding an array of ages each pinpointing main stages in Andaman evolution. In this way, India-Eurasia convergence that shapes tectonic morphology of the plate margins, results in changing geodynamic settings and creates tectonic hazards will be reconstructed.
