Chlamydophila psittaci Immune response virulence

Project description

This project aims to gain insight in the fundamental molecular mechanisms involved in the observed differences in virulence between Chlamydophila psittaci strains, in both the avian and human host. The results could aid in the development of new diagnostic tests for tracing of virulent strains and the development of novel prophylactics.
