Project description

Invasion and metastasis are the foremost causes of the fatal outcome of cancer and accordingly pose a main challenge in oncology. Using a predictive QSAR-model as a rationale and an in vitro assay as verification, the objective of this project is to synthesise new potent anti-invasive agents amongst the classes of chalcones and related heterocyclic compounds.
