Project description

Mammary tumors are common in dogs. The expression and regulation of the tumor suppressor genes BRCA1 and SYK will be thoroughly studied during mammary tumorogenesis in dogs, based on the hypothesis that these two genes could play a key role in canine mammary tumorogenesis and moreover, could prove to be essential for developing more efficacious antir-tumoral preventive and therapeutic agents.
