CINECOS/Cinema EcoSystem heeft tot doel om een open access data platform te bouwen met betrekking tot de geschiedenis film en cinema in Vlaanderen en België vanaf 1896; daarbij geeft het platform toegang tot kerndata over filmproductie, -distributie, -vertoning, -programmering, -censuur/keuring, en consumptie/receptie.
