Project description
With this project fundamental research that aims to enhance the current feature based basic technique for biometrical ear comparison via photographs, based on the Iannarelli system, is conducted. More specifically it is investigated how problems of imperfections due to partial visibility, rescaling and reorientation can be (partially) alleviated. For that purpose, we search for new, innovative solutions that result from the combination and integration of techniques for flexible object comparison and techniques for (3D) object modelling of anatomic structures.
