Project description

This starting grant will contribute to a new research line that aims to broaden the scope of the Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) research at UGent to electrochemical water splitting. By exploiting the accurate stoichiometry and thickness control, and excellent conformality of ALD, we aim at the nanoscale synthesis and systematic characterization of model electrocatalysts and new earth-abundant materials for electrolysis.
