Adolescence is characterized by an increased risk for sleep problems. Although social media are often seen as a (co-)cause for this, evidences is indistinctive. By refining the concept of social media, examining the role of basic psychological needs as antecedents and using a multi-method approach,
this project aims to unravel the link between social media use and sleep.
