Project description

The goal of the present project is to evaluate whether the DOXP pathway has potential as a novel target for antibacterial chemotherapy (especially against biofilm-associated bacteria), which mechanisms are responsible for resistance towards DOXP pathway inhibitors, and how these resistance mechanisms can be overcome. This knowledge will subsequently be used for the rational design of novel inhibitors of the DOXP pathway.
