Project description

Some microorganisms of the human microbiome have been shown to transfer electrons to the environment or other species in a process called extracellular electron transfer. This project aims to study this process and mitigate dysbiosis utilizing a model oral biofilm, and a 128-channel potentiostat and electrode array that overcomes the limitations of these types of studies.
