Project description

This research project addresses the causes and effects of the transformations in the agrarian labour organization and market in the North Sea area during the early modern period. In this project we investigate the relationship between the different types of agrarian labour and chart their development within the agrarian, economical, institutional and ecological framework of four regions in the North Sea area during a period of two centuries.
