Project description
Heat transport is an interesting tracer to better understand groundwater flow systems. With this project applications of heat transport in different situations and scales is determined. Heat transport is first studied at the scale of a well using a number of tracter tests. Secondly, heat transport is studied at a larger scale in the vicinity of an infiltration pond and finally on regional scale using hot water springs in Zambia.
