Nemathodes are the dominant metazoans in marine sediments. They can be indicative for the quality of the environments, but their identification is a slow progress. This project aims at developing rapid biodiversity assessment methods by barcoding voucher specimens of key species of mangroves in Vietnam. Alsoo the genetic variation of different populations will be characterised from impacted, and protected mangroves.
