Project description
Infections with equine arteritis virus have different clinical outcomes. They are either subclinical, or clinical with only reproductive failure, or clinical with severe clinical signs (oedema, fever, respiraotry problems, colic). The etiology of this different clinical outcome is not known and will be examined in the present project. Special attention will be paid to differences in cell tropism and its basis.
