Project description
Motor competence (gross as well as fine motor skills) in prepubertal boys and girls is studied. Field test for the evaluation of motor competence as well as kinematic analyses in the lab are used. The aim is to investigate whether the mechanical effect of overweight is the only explanation for the supposed lower motor competence in children with overweight and obese children.
