The research will focus on processes at unique and very poorly known African volcanoes. Field, sample and RS data and analyses were gathered at Mt Rungwe and Mt Cameroon (MC). Novel field work, lab analyses and modelling will be developed to further deepen understanding. The innovative research will be focused on documenting and modeling the dynamics of explosive eruptions producing eruption columns and dispersing volcanic ejecta.
