Project description

The analysis of neutrino-oscillation experiments suffers from the tension between the need for efficient Monte-Carlo simulations and for a detailed microscopic description of the nuclear processes governing the neutrino-nucleus interactions. The goal of this project is to combine the expertise of the Ghent and Wrocław groups. We will merge the description of 2-nucleon knockout-processes developed in Ghent with the Wrocław event-simulator. We aim at

developing a well-defined algorithm for the description of advanced aspects of neutrino interactions, suitable for use in the analysis of current and future experiments.
