Project description
The research project studies the Critical Power concept and focuses on underpinning mechanisms of the different components of the concept: Critical Power and W’ by means of non-invasive techniques (Near-Infrared Spectroscopy, Surface Electromyography, Pulmonary gas exchange). Additionally, the application of this concept into physical evaluation of patient populations and effectiveness of interventions is addressed in a pilot study in COPD.
