Project description
Although biological control agents are already available in agriculture, the supply is rather limited. BioScreen seeks and identifies new, biological and multifunctional molecules for biological disease control of crops. This will help in the transition to sustainable agriculture while respecting the environment.
Role of Ghent University
The main activities are screening molecules and/or micro-organisms for multiple patho-systems and studying the mechanism of action of the molecules and/or micro-organisms.
