A first aspect is conducting a literature review on currently used questionnaires to assess environmental aspects of physical activity and meeting a consensus on a European version. Another aspects is performing an overview on currently used procedures/data sources related to GIS and to develop a European tool that merges existing GIS data, to accompany the assessment of urban environment characteristics.
