Project description

Depleting oil reserves, concerns about global warming and increasing energy

demands are driving the investigation of lignocellulosic biomass as a

renewable and cleaner alternative to fossil resources. For renewable

production of fuels and chemicals it is necessary to understand the relations

between biomass composition, fast pyrolysis conditions and the composition of

the targeted bio-oil.
