Project description

Seabob shrimp is a key fisheries resources in Suriname, exploited both artisanally and industrially. Due to lack of research the seabob fishery is little regulated, causing danger for overexploitation and stock collapse which threatens the income of coastal inhabitants. By studying the ecological impact of seabob fishing, advices for a sustainable management will be formulated.
