Project description

This project aims at developing heterogeneous catalysis using microreactor technology combining the advantages of both techniques. Two major types of heterogeneous catalysts will be studied, i.e. zeolites and mesoporous silica. The focus of this project will go to acid catalyzed reactions like the Diels-Alder reaction and the synthesis of heterocycles, f.e. substituted imidazoles.
