The central and new idea within this project is to treat respiratory infections with a plasma-activated aerosol as a complementary technique in addition to, or in tandem with, antibiotic treatment that may or may not be adapted. The intended impact is to open an important new route with a user-friendly and affordable extension of the existing aerosol devices to cure acute patients and to extend the life and quality of chronic patients.
