Project description

The target of this project is to increase the energy yield of solar panels, not by improving the solar cell efficiency, but by implementing intelligence and additional functionality within the PV modules. This comprises e.g. intelligent bypass chips, dynamic reconfiguration based on the illumination state, and very efficient high-speed GaN-based power converters.
