Project description
This project will evaluate the potential use of hair as a diagnostic tool to detect chronic stress in children and to determine their micronutrient status through the presence of biomarkers in hair. The following biomarkers will be analysed in the hair of a children participating in a European cohort study, namely the Idefics study: cortisol, iron, copper and zinc.
