Project description

In this project we will develop novel self-amplifying (sa)RNAs and circular (circ)RNAs with optimal expression in canine. The best performing saRNA and circRNA will be used to design vaccines against canine distemper virus. The immunogenicity of the vaccines will be tested in mice and ferrets. The most efficient RNA vaccine will subsequently be evaluated in a challenge experiment in ferrets.
