This project aims to bring into focus, from different disciplines, both historical and systematic, the subjectifying and objectifying effects of language as a formal structure. The background is a long-standing study of the problems of self-organization and complexity, first from the perspective of transcendental philosophy and the philosophy of biology, then intertwined with the psychoanalytic theory of Freud and Lacan. Lacan's topology in particular serves as a theoretical guide here, and the cross-linking with neuropsychoanalysis and the collaboration with Ariane Bazan (ULorraine) allows distinctions to be made in a conceptually very refined way that tie in with the functioning of the body. Indeed, the point is to clarify how language cuts into the dynamics of bodies. Several of my researchers (currently 13 PhD projects) are working on partial aspects of this major project, an extremely fruitful context.
