The research domain for which the funding will be used lies in rehabilitation sciences, with a strong focus on the functional anatomy, diagnostics, and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly low back pain (LBP). The research work focuses on understanding the biomechanical and neurophysiological causes of back pain and developing effective prevention and treatment strategies.
The basic funding will be used to support and strengthen the core activities of the research group. The funding will specifically be allocated to:
Research Materials: The purchase of essential consumables.
Equipment Usage: All equipment is part of the core facility, but a user fee is charged for access.
Research Personnel and Talent Development: The basic funding will contribute to the appointment of temporary scientific staff (WP) to support data analysis. We also aim to encourage the further development of our young researchers by facilitating their participation in international conferences and training programs, which contributes to knowledge sharing and network expansion.
Support of Collaborations: The promotion of national and international partnerships.
