Basic research funding will be used to promote research in veterinary pharmacology. This consist of bioanalysis of different drugs in animal matrices, pharmacokinetic studies and pharmacodynamic studies of drugs. A wide array of animal species is involved and drug studies are intented to ultimately cure animal diseases and also as animal model for human drugs and diseases.
