The funding will be used to support my own research and that of my research team ThIS, through the facilitation and co-funding of research(ers). Intended research output: publications (edited volumes, articles, chapters and editing of Tijdschrift voor Interieurgeschiedenis en Design), conferences and valorisation in the form of exhibitions and study days (including the annual Study Day Historical Interior and Design). The research is situated at the interface of art, space and gender, 1750-1950, with a focus on Belgium from an international perspective.
