Project description

In this project we investigate the contributions to soil C pools of roots vs. shoots, an aspect that has been mostly overlooked, although it appears a key factor driving the fate of plant tissue C either as mineralized CO2 or as stabilized soil C. The influence of P limitation to root proliferation and the C balance will be looked at.
