Project description
The Cultural Sociology & Lifestyle research team (research group CuDOS - Department of Sociology) conducts fundamental and applied sociological research on cultural participation and cultural education, with a central focus on thresholds, motives, social inequality and the link to lifestyles. The team takes a coordinating role in several, often inter-university projects, funded from basic scientific research funds, governments and intermediary organisations. Via core funding, the research activities will be further structurally anchored, both in terms of attracting external funding and the valorisation of research findings.
