Project description
The symbiosis between leguminous plants and rhizobia results in the development of new root organs, the nodules, in which the bacteria fix atmospheric nitrogen. Here, we want to get further insight in nodule primordium formation by executing a specific genome wide transcriptome analysis using Laser Capture Microdissection and by unraveling the role of CLE peptide signaling during nodulation.
