Project description

This PhD work aims at the technology development and application of artificial skin, i.e. a surface into or onto which a high number of sensors are integrated. The main innovative aspect of this research is the use of elastic optical sensors. Today merely electrical sensors are applied which moreover are flexibel at the most (surely not elastic).
