Project description

Research conducted by our group has demonstrated that an LTab-LTbR interaction is required fetally as well as neonatally during the development of Vai NKT cells. This process is dependent upon an LTab-LTbR interaction during the development of the thymus and is specific for the ontogeny of Vai NKT cells as the ontogeny and emigration of conventional T cells is independent of an LTab-LTbR signaling event.
