Project description
This research project focuses on the design and analysis of a new class of scheduling mechanisms with application in telecommunication networks with multiple types of traffic, each with specific Quality-of-Service requirements. By reserving buffer space for future arriving traffic of a higher priority type, the delay experienced by the traffic streams of each type can be differentiated in a controlled way.
