The research project will assess the added value of dynamic thermal simulation models (BES) in the operational phase of a building. Therefore the approach is implemented for 2 office buildings (one in the South of China and one in Belgium) of which the research partners have access to the data of the Building Energy Management System (BEMS). The results of the analysis conducted in the project should be used to improve the energy efficiency and to allow for maximised energy savings in buildings.
