Project description

The Laboratory Standaarddosimetrie hereinafter "LSDG", Ghent University is responsible for the continuity of quality assurance in radiotherapy, radiodiagnosis and radiation protection in Belgium. The primary calibration standards of LSDG are internationally acclaimed and play an important role in the uniformity of quality in patient at European level. As part of the goal counts of FANC is the role of this LSDG of paramount importance. The financing policies of universities and government inzak science policy, which only research and services not funded, the LSDG threatens to disappear in its present form. Given the importance of the LSDG FANC will grant a subsidy.
