Project description

This project studies the nexus between family arrangements, gender and professional care seeking behaviour. We build on the gender specific Health-related Social Control Theories. These suggest that intimate people try to influence each other's health behavior. In relationships, men and women may be a source of social control for each other. This project uses the multi-actor survey Divorce in Flanders.
