Incarcerated boys often have a history of abuse/neglect. However, there is little research examining the relationship between abuse/neglect on the one hand and deviant personality traits and emotion processing processes on the other. To fill this void, Thomas Cassart studies this relationship in his doctoral research using various methods (file study, self-reporting, interviews, experiments and psychophysiology).
