Project description

Development of efficient gas fermentation processes enables the conversion of gas mixtures containing carbon dioxide (CO₂), hydrogen (H₂), and carbon monoxide (CO) into acetic acid as a key platform chemical. Evaluation in scalable and industrially relevant systems provides insight into the technical and economic feasibility of such processes. Valorization of waste carbon streams in this manner supports the sustainable production of value-added products, including biopolymers and triacylglycerides.
