Project description

During the last 4000 years, aquatic communities have been increasingly exposed to anthropogenic stress. The consequences for the dynamic behavior of these communities is unknown. This project will gather paleoecological data that will be analyses with mathematical modeling to examine if community dynamics in European lakes can be predicted from anthropogenic stress.
