The main objective is knowledge transfer on different aspects of Comparative Law: African and European Legal Cultures, Harmonisation of Law, Common Law and Civil Law, Methodology of Comparative Law, Developments of Family Law in Europe,… in order to establish structural links with the Nigerian institutions in view of advanced research on (African) legal cultures and of developing new legal models which are better adapted to current needs in sub-sahara Africa
